Questions & AnswersThe questions families and shoppers ask us most. Don't see yours? Call (760) 991-7948 — Kate's happy to help.
Nothing. There are no up-front fees or costs. We work on a percentage of the total proceeds, so we only get paid when you do — which keeps us motivated to earn you the most money possible.
Our commission is based on the size and scope of the sale. We'll go over the exact terms during your free, no-obligation consultation and put everything in a written contract before we begin.
Most sales are set up within one to two weeks of a signed contract, depending on the size of the estate and how much staging and pricing is involved. The sale itself typically runs two to three days.
Just remove the items you want to keep. Leave everything else to us — we lightly clean, stage the home, research and price every item, and run the entire sale. There's no need to clean out or organize anything else.
We research current market and collector values so items are priced to sell while still earning you top dollar. Our goal is the highest profit in the least amount of time — priced too high, nothing moves; too low, you lose money.
Every sale is promoted on EstateSales.net and other major listing platforms, across social media, and to our large email customer list. On sale days we also put out our own signage to direct local traffic to the home.
At our sales we accept cash, credit cards, Zelle, CashApp, and PayPal, so buyers can shop however is easiest for them.
Smaller valuables and collectibles are kept in locked display cases and monitored by our staff throughout the sale. We run an organized, well-supervised event from open to close.
Yes. We're experienced with heavily cluttered and hoarder estates and are not fazed by a full house. Don't throw anything away — one person's clutter is another's treasure, and it may be worth more than you think.
Absolutely. We regularly work with out-of-state and long-distance families. We keep you informed with regular updates and photos and handle everything on the ground so you don't have to travel.
You'll receive your proceeds by check, typically within 2 to 10 days after the sale closes and the final accounting is complete.
Yes. We're experienced with probate and trust situations and are happy to coordinate with attorneys, executors, and family members to keep everything documented and on schedule.
We can discount remaining items over the course of the sale and, if you'd like, arrange cleanout of whatever is left so the home is left broom-swept and ready to list.
Yes — we're fully insured estate sale professionals and a local, family-owned business serving the High Desert and Inland Empire.
